Canada, federated country in North America, made up of ten provinces and three territories.

Honduras, country in Central America, extending from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean.

Senegal, republic in the westernmost part of Africa, along the Atlantic Ocean. Senegal was once a French colony within French West Africa. It became an independent country in 1960 but has maintained close ties with France.

Italy (Italian Italia), republic in southern Europe, on the northern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Most of Italy consists of a boot-shaped peninsula that juts out from southern Europe into the Mediterranean.

Saudi Arabia, monarchy in southwestern Asia, occupying most of the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia is a land of vast deserts and little rainfall. Huge deposits of oil and natural gas lie beneath the country’s surface.

Portugal, nation in southwestern Europe, occupying the western portion of the Iberian Peninsula.
